World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2013
Since 2003, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) observes the World Day on Safety and Health at Work on 28th April, promoting globally the prevention of accidents and diseases at work and capitalizing on its traditional strengths of tripartism and social dialogue. Within the tripartite structure of the ILO, 28 April is seen as a day to raise international awareness on occupational safety and health among trade unions, employers’ organizations and government representatives alike.
